春节是中国最隆重、热闹的传统节日，俗称“新年”。年节从农历正月初一至十五日。广大城乡年节前就开始备办年货，杀猪、羊、兔等，制腊肉、购食品、逢新衣，过年时大家穿好衣服、挂年画、贴春联，年三十吃团年饭，初二、三就开始走亲戚家拜年，祭祖等活动。清明节在一年的二月中旬，公历的4月5日前后，主要是郊游踏青、野炊;有的是祭祖上坟扫墓等活动。这一习俗活动也是城乡较普遍的活动。
